I am passionate about environmental issues, renewable energy and the circular economy, and I currently work for GENeco (part of Wessex Water). During my time in this role I have been lucky enough to work on a wide variety of sustainability projects such as the world-famous Bio-Bus.

Before working for GENeco, I did a PhD in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol. My PhD research was focussed on the volcanic island of Grenada in the Lesser Antilles, more specifically, on the magmas generated beneath it. I used experimental petrology to replicateĀ  natural rocks found on the island and provide constraints on the conditions of magma storage and generation

Other research interests include metamorphic petrology, a subject that I explored in my MSci project and through fieldwork on the island of Syros and Naxos.
